Cardiovascular technologists are in-demand healthcare professionals that perform, interpret, and create reports for a variety of cardiac tests in an equally wide variety of settings. Purpose of the Job: To provide cardiac applications support to customers via phone, remote web presentation and in person.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Starting Salary: Commensurate with experience, starting at: $70,000.00 annual salary.
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities:
1. Assisting customers with application support and technical support for Cardiology products such as ECG, STRES, AMBP, HOLTER products on-site, via web, phone, or email. All information pertaining to support to be logged in CRM.
2. Assisting sales reps with filling out technical components of RFP for cardiac equipment.
3. Receiving and logging all in-house cardiology repairs in CRM and placing in appropriate place on repair shelf. Routine review of SOP with Operations Manager.
4. Open new cases in CRM for new technical support calls that require follow up, customer issues, installations, in-services, repairs, calibrations etc.
5. Conduct minor repairs to ABP, calibration of ABP.
6. Administrative assistance-assisting with creating price lists, updating customer lists, preparing for conferences, and shipping.
7. Assist with packaging new systems such as holter systems or Falcon vascular systems.
8. Assist with shipping and receiving orders, repairs, or returns when required.
9. Provide backup for ticket monitoring system as necessary.
Qualifications:
Cardiovascular Technologist Diploma
Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists (OSCT) membership in good standing
Minimum 1-3 years of experience
Must be proficient in ECG and HOLTER interpretation.
Experience with Northeast Monitoring HELX scanning software an asset
Strong technical skills
Excellent communication skills when interacting with physicians

Technologist (CVT) to join our team! Medpoint is a preventative health care centre and is dedicated to helping our clients make health and lifestyle choices that will aid, and even help prevent, injury and disease. As part of Medpoint’s multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, specialists, kinesiologists, dietitians, and nutritionists, the CVT will play a key role in assessing clients.

What your day will look like:
• Performing all cardiac diagnostic testing techniques including Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, Exercise Stress testing, Holter monitor and Ambulatory Blood pressure monitoring in compliance with CSCT guidelines;
• Scanning, monitoring, and analyzing Holters;
• Completing administrative duties to assist with clinic flow;
• Ensuring all quality control assessments are performed as required;
• Taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices;

What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who has completed a Cardiovascular Technologist diploma recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and is eligible for membership with the CSCT. We are also looking for a candidate that that holds current CPR certification.

• Accurately scan and analyze Holter recordings, produce comprehensive reports and prepare results for the Cardiologist.

Job Description:
Medpoint Health Care Centre has an upcoming opening for a part-time/full-time Cardiac Sonographer. The sonographer will perform a variety of echocardiography techniques in order to obtain optimal images to assist with the detection and diagnosis of conditions and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Tests will include but not be limited to:
• Echocardiograms
• Stress echocardiograms
• Contrast echocardiography
The sonographer will also be required to:
• Input relevant data into the diagnostic imaging information system
• Prepare accurate reports for physician interpretation following the cardiologist's protocol
• Assess, evaluate and respond to patients based on age or other functional limitations
• Assist patients with emphasis on quality patient care while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Notify cardiologist of significant scan deviations that may necessitate immediate attention to the patient
• Ensure that equipment is well kept and in good working order, and
• Perform other cross-functional responsibilities as requested

Requirements:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography / Adult Echocardiography
• Current registration ARDMS and/or CARDUP and/or CRCS, Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration
• Experience is an asset
• Ability to prioritize and accommodate urgent requests
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
