2023 O.S.C.T. Education & A.G.M. Event Saturday May 6th, 2023!

The 2023 Education and AGM Event is coming Saturday May 6th, 2023! It will be held at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn in at 591 Wellington Road, London, Ontario, for in - person attendance and VIRTUALLY for all those who would like to attend but can't make it person.

A huge thank you to all who made last year's event go so well and for your very hard work! The feedback was very positive we are doing our very best to grow upon the success of 2022 to make this event better.

Please remember, the AGM only is FREE for all members to attend and that C.E.U.s will be provided to all who attended (and stayed for the entire event).

What:

The 2023 AGM and Education Event is available in Virtual format this year, and in Person! Lectures TBA (To Be Announced) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with lunch to follow. Check in for AGM will be available from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. The AGM will begin at 1:30 pm.

How:

In Person and Virtually available for the first time this ever! Registration is open now! Pre-registration is required for the Education sessions/AGM.

Registration will be open from March 20th - April 6th, 2023 for IN-Person attendance

Virtual Attendance registration will be open until April 22nd.

Who:

As per OSCT Bylaw only Active Members in Good Standing and OSCT Life Members are entitled to vote but all members can obtain CEUs for attendance. In addition, an Active Member must be in good standing thirty (30) days prior to the AGM in order to vote.

The proxy form will be available for those members in good standing who are unable to attend. Proxies must be scanned and submitted to registrar@osct.ca no later than midnight May 5th, 2023 at noon.

2023 Board Elections

As per OSCT bylaws the following positions are posted to be elected by the general Membership for a

Secretary: - shall hold office for a two (2) year term by virtue of appointment by the Board on an odd numbered year. The secretary shall have a vote. A Notice of opportunity will be posted for Members of the Society in good standing on an odd numbered year prior to the Annual General Meeting. Responsible for taking and maintaining meeting minutes.

Education Director - shall hold office for a two (2) year term by virtue of appointment by the Board on an odd numbered year. The Education Director shall have a vote. A Notice of opportunity will be posted for Members of the Society in good standing on an odd numbered year prior to the Annual General Meeting. Responsible for researching and producing continuing education opportunities for members. Liaises with the Communications Director.

Registrar - shall hold office for a minimum of two (2) year term by virtue of appointment by the Board on an odd numbered year. The Registrar shall have a vote. A Notice of opportunity will be posted for Members of the Society in good standing on an odd numbered year prior to the Annual General Meeting. Responsible for registering new and transferred members, assigning OSCT numbers and maintaining member records.
